WHEREAS, the City’s Personnel Policy Handbook has been substantially updated in 2012;
WHEREAS, some of the policies and procedures are in need of updating to make them more consistent with current law;
WHEREAS, the proposed revised City of Hood River Personnel Policy Handbook represents the complete and up to date state of personnel policy issues;
WHEREAS, the proposed City of Hood River Personnel Policy Handbook complies with all aspects of federal and state law; and
WHEREAS, the proposed City of Hood River Personnel Policy Handbook complies with City/County Insurance Service and the Local Government personnel Institute; and
WHEREAS, the City should adopt the proposed City of Hood River Personnel Policy Handbook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hood River City Council that:
The City Council adopts the revised versions of the Hood River Personnel Policy Handbook.
Approved by the Hood River City Council the 25 day of March, 2013, to take effect immediately.
