Resolution 2011-37

(A resolution approving a supplemental budget for the Sewer Fund)

 WHEREAS, ORS 294.480 allows the City to adopt a supplemental budget by resolution of the City Council; and

 WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt a supplemental budget to recognize unanticipated revenues; and

WHEREAS, the beginning balance of the Sewer Fund exceeded budget estimates; and

WHEREAS, emergency repair work at the north secondary clarifier located at the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is necessary; and

WHEREAS, the recognition of $167,846 of unbudgeted Sewer beginning fund balance and the appropriation of an additional $167,846 of capital outlay:  WWTP, Improvements other than Buildings in the Sewer Fund is necessary; and

 WHEREAS, the estimated expenditures contained in the supplemental budget differ by less than 10% of the expenditures of the Sewer Fund; and

 WHEREAS, the City provided notice as required by ORS 294.480(3).
 
 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hood River City Council that:

A supplemental budget to recognize additional beginning fund balance of $167,846 and appropriation of an additional $167,846 of Capital Outlay: WWTP, Improvements other than Buildings in the Sewer Fund is adopted.
 
Approved by the Hood River City Council on December 12, 2011, to take effect immediately.
