Resolution 2011-23

                         (A resolution providing for contingency transfers for consulting services costs)


 
            WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 allows the Agency to transfer a general contingency appropriation, when all such transfers do not exceed 15 percent of the total appropriations of the fund, within a fund when authorized by resolution of the governing body;
 
            WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency’s Debt Service and General Funds have contingency to cover unforeseen expenditures;
 
            WHEREAS, consulting services costs for the extension of the Columbia Cascade Plan and the creation of the Heights Plan were not budgeted;
 
            WHEREAS, these contingency transfers do not exceed 15 percent of the total appropriations in either fund;
 
WHEREAS, a transfer and reappropriation of $25,000 from contingency to the Columbia Cascade Extension line item in the Debt Service Fund is necessary;
 
WHEREAS, a transfer and reappropriation of $10,000 from contingency to the Heights Plan line item in the General Fund is necessary;

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Hood River that:
 
The transfer and reappropriation of $25,000 from contingency to the operating budget in the Debt Service Fund is approved, and the transfer and reappropriation of $10,000 from contingency to the operating budget in the General Fund is approved.
           
Approved by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Hood River the 16 day of June, 2011, to take effect immediately.
