Resolution 2010-29

(A resolution providing for a transfer of existing appropriations for improvements at the Waterfront Park)

 WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 allows the City to transfer appropriations within a fund when authorized by resolution of the City Council;

WHEREAS, the City’s General Fund has a Pass-through Revenue line item that budgets for anticipated but uncertain funding during the budget process;

 WHEREAS, the City budgeted $140,000 for Waterfront Park – Phase II project costs in the Pass-through Expenditure Division during the budget process;

 WHEREAS, $140,000 in funding for the Waterfront Park – Phase II project is now confirmed ($75,000 from OPRD and $65,000 from the WCPA);

WHEREAS, a transfer and reappropriation of $140,000 from Pass-through Revenue to State Grants Revenue ($75,000) and Nonprofit Grants Revenue ($65,000) of the General Fund, and a transfer and reappropriation of $105,000 from Improvements other than Buildings and $35,000 from Other of the General Fund, Pass-through Expenditures Division to the Improvements Other Than Buildings of the General Fund, Parks Division ($140,000) is necessary;
 
 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hood River City Council that:

The transfer and reappropriation of $140,000 from the Pass-through Revenue Line to the State Grants Line ($75,000) and Non Profit Grants Line ($65,000) of the General Fund, and the transfer and reappropriation of $105,000 from the Improvements other than Buildings Line and $35,000 from the Other Line of the General Fund, Pass-through Expenditures Division to the Improvements Other than Buildings Line of the General Fund, Parks Division ($140,000) are approved.
 
Approved by the Hood River City Council the 9th day of August, 2010, to take effect immediately.
