Transportation System Plan Update

The City of Hood River went through a process to update the Transportation System Plan (TSP) in 2010 and 2011 including revisions to implementing land use ordinances and funding programming.  Learn more about the project.

Review the Downtown Delivery Parking Survey (responses were due by August 25, 2010).

Community Open House/Workshop: Thursday, February 17, 2011, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 211 2nd Street, Hood River.  All citizens and business owners were invited to review the proposed solutions and strategies intended to address future needs and deficiencies in the motor vehicle-, pedestrian- and bicycle systems.  Staff were available to answer questions and consultants made a presentation.
Review the September 2011 Final Draft TSP (16.9MB) and the Draft TSP Appendices (17.5MB).  Recommended policy and code amendments are detailed in Appendix J (pages 401-424).  PLEASE BE AWARE, THESE FILES ARE VERY LARGE.
Public hearings were held prior to approval of the TSP Update.  Review a summary of issues associated with both the TSP Update and the Exit 62 and Exits 63/64 Interchange Area Management Plans (IAMPs) that the city council considered prior to adopting Ordinance Nos. 2001 and 2002 that approved the IAMPs and TSP Update on September 26, 2011 (effective November 10, 2011).
