Resolution 2009-32

(A resolution providing for a General Fund contingency transfer and reappropriation for Administration Building repair work)


 WHEREAS, ORS 294.450 allows the City to transfer a general contingency appropriation, when all such transfers do not exceed 15 percent of the total appropriations of the fund, within a fund when authorized by resolution of the City Council;

 WHEREAS, the City’s General Fund has a Contingency Line to cover unforeseen expenses;

 WHEREAS, the City Administration Building boiler is in need of repairs estimated to cost $4,013.00, which amount has not been budget in the Repairs & Maintenance Line of the General Fund;

 WHEREAS, this transfer of contingency funds does not cause all contingency appropriations transfers to exceed 15 percent of the total appropriations of the General Fund;

 WHEREAS, a transfer and reappropriation of $4,013.00 from the Contingency Line of the General Fund to the Repairs & Maintenance Line of the General Fund is necessary;


 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hood River City Council that:

The transfer and reappropriation of $4,013.00 from the Contingency Line of the General Fund to the Repairs & Maintenance Line of the General Fund, Non-Department is approved.
 
Approved by the Hood River City Council the 28th day of September, 2009, to take effect immediately.
