Effective May 1, 2016, there will be a 3% Service Fee on all City credit and debit card payments except utility and parking meter payments. The new fee will help offset the nearly $80,000 in credit and debit card fees that we absorb each year. Our intention is to ensure fair treatment of our customers by matching costs to the individual customers that receive the convenience and other benefits of using a credit or debit card.
